Stephanie Von Allmen is a highly-skilled communications specialist with a knack for storytelling and a keen sense for what is newsworthy. For more than 20 years, Stephanie has worked across numerous industries including technology, real estate, retail and sporting goods.
Now & Then
Stephanie launched Von Allmen Communication, LLC in 2023 following several years as a freelance writer for local publications such as Portland Real Producers greet LAKE OSWEGO, and Portland Magazine. Additional clients that have tapped Stephanie for her superior writing skills and media relations capabilities include Luxe Forbes Global Properties, Oswego Real Estate Group and Roloff Farms.
Prior to her career as a freelancer, Stephanie led adidas America’s Sport Performance public relations team, overseeing the company’s communications for the Basketball, Football, Running, Soccer, Tennis and Digital Sport categories.
Before her role at adidas, Stephanie drove financial communications at Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), including corporate earnings announcements, strategic alliances and all M&A activity.
Stephanie’s career began on the agency side of the PR business at Ketchum Communications in New York City, where she was a key member of the corporate practice and driver of media coverage for her publicly held clients. In addition, she spent five years at FitzGerald Communications (now an Omnicom company), at the firm’s San Francisco office. At FitzGerald, Stephanie’s experience spanned a wide range of technology sectors including messaging, telecommunications, and wireless technologies. She played an integral role in many launches of start-ups and IPO’s during the dot.com era in Silicon Valley.
A Little More
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon, where she majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations. Outside of work, Stephanie is an avid runner – completing 10 marathons, USTA tennis player, yogi and watersports enthusiast. Her favorite way to spend her free time is boating on Oswego Lake with her husband and two teenagers.
